rip off report...information central...
for former sellers and folks looking for near real-time crew locations...this site is tough to beat...generally new posts appear within hours after folks submit them...often with names of the agent, and some information on who they knock on doors for. let me make this clear...the magmanagers HATE this site...because it centrally disseminates far too much about the unfortunate experiences that thousands have had with "kids in a contest"...using the advanced search feature will enable lookers to find specific induviduals...crews...and magmanagers...not to mention that the term "door to door" merits its own subheading in the main menu...a phenomenon relegated to businesses that warrant such a heading because of the shear numbers of negative posts...check it out...getabunch!

roadrunners, sunshine subscriptions, fidelity reader service, and palmetto marketing...
we will add more crew/clearinghouse names...but if you have worked for any of these groups we would love to hear about some adventures on the road. while i do spend alot of time disparaging this industry...i cannot deny its impact on my years in it...BOTH good and bad...i had many dear friends, trained more "kids in a contest" than i can remember...and admit i saw...experienced...the country in ways only a magrew gig can offer...that said, feel free to comment here or join in the blogging by emailing me at magnewz@yahoo.com. i'll add you even if we disagree on the parts of this biz that i found to be negative. personally, overall, my tenure with a man named russel wood was pretty good. but...he didn't pay me when i left...or others...and he should have...more later...getabunch!

how do those magmanagers make SO much money?
first...MANY crews have managers who do not bother to submit the orders...that is no secret...but for the ones who do bother...the holy grail and secret the agents are never let in on is those scripts are provided by the publishers who make up that "list" the kid gets "points" from at NO CHARGE...why??...lets say automaker "A" buys a full page ad from magazine "B"...for 125 grand for fiscal year 2010...based on guaranteed circulation to HOME subscribers at say...half a million readers...but...magazine "B" only comes up with 450 thousand subscribers...oops...they sure do not want to give automaker "A" a refund...nope...you guessed it...they clear, accept, and process those orders from cashclearinghouses...for FREE...the 10 bucks you gotta collect...that goes to the manager who promoted your manager...unless they part company and eventually they all do...there is NO SUCH THING AS A MANAGER WHO IS NOT GREED-DRIVEN...and if you have worked the inside of crew management...that or this post is not news to you...getabunch...hivelozity.
