a motion picture about maglife?

google magcrew right now and it appears some folks have filmed a short new flick about life on the road selling subscriptions...one of the stars is a former semi-finalist from tv's wildly successful american idol...my gut feeling is it may never make it into general release...but i hope it does if they have done their homework and portray the life of an agent with some accuracy. i am happy to see many sites from former magsellers popping up out there...i have argued for years that the nfsa has spent BIG monies in the background in congress to keep the oversight fellas off the magmanagers' backs. the only solution is education and exposure of magazine clearinghouses and managers (they are one in the same...more on another post)...and a general public awareness of how MUCH...literally millions in backpay is due the kids in a contest...it would be a triumph to have some accountability imposed on this byzantine industry...because when the the foxes mind the hen house...the hens get burned.
